Dear Grandma,
It’s been a month and two days since you left. I remember a friend telling me that her parents told her not to look back once the body went down but I remembered that day perfectly, I couldn’t help but look back because I could not believe that you left. I know that you lived a good life and I have to keep moving forward but it’s hard! Deep inside I’m really hurting that I held in all the tears from that day for every time that I write something about you. I don’t know. Every time we pass by your house I just want to park in the front and go inside to give you a big hug and see how you’re doing. I remember rubbing your foot and your back just to make you feel better :) I remember the conversations we had especially you constantly asking if we had a boyfriend and that we shouldn’t have a boyfriend yet because we’re still young. Grandma, I know you’re with God right now but sometimes I really do want you to be right next to me again just so that I can hear you laughing and see you smiling. I’m just really glad to call you my Grandma and I just wanted you to know that.

I can’t stop thinking about my grandma. There are so many things that I wish I had done just to create more memories. Ever since that day my sister called, I couldn’t help but let the tears just go. I didn’t care who saw me cry or saw me breakdown it was just that feeling of losing someone you knew in a heartbeat. I know that she will always be with all of us in spirit but sometimes I wish she would be there with us in person. I will always love her and I know she will be with us at all times :) Love you GRANDMA!
